Kelly Bensimon has hit another home run in the game of love.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 53, tells Page Six in an exclusive interview that she is dating an “amazing athlete” — months after her rumored romance with New York Yankees legend Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez.
“I’m not single. I have a boyfriend and he’s incredible. He’s an amazing athlete,” Bensimon says, playing coy on the identity of her new mystery man.
“[He’s] very, very smart. So I feel really blessed to know him and I’m really excited to see where it goes with him,” she adds, further gushing, “He’s very, very talented in sports. I love it. So exciting!”
Bensimon was linked to Rodriguez, 46, in November 2021 following his split from Jennifer Lopez that spring.
Page Six exclusively reported at the time that the two had engaged in flirtations over text.
“I’ve known A-Rod for a long time. There was a rumor about us dating a long time ago and I’ve met him multiple times,” Bensimon explains in our latest interview.
“He was single. I was single. He’s a great texter.”
The OG Bravo star — who now works as a Douglas Elliman real estate agent with her own team representing multimillion-dollar properties in New York, the Hamptons and South Florida — confirms a previous statement from Rodriguez’s rep that her exchanges with the athlete-turned-real estate investor were for “business purposes.”
However, Bensimon suggests that the two discussed more than just listings and interest rates.
“We were working on some projects together, in addition to him being an amazing texter. And I just think he’s a great guy … He’s been nothing but charming, engaging, sweet [and he’s a] good father,” she says of Rodriguez, who shares daughters Natasha, 17, and Ella, 13, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
“So I really have a lot of respect for him,” she adds.
The “I Can Make You Hot!” author also has enough respect for her new beau to not parade their relationship on reality TV, should she be chosen to participate in the forthcoming “RHONY: Legacy” series.
“I’ve always been very private, as you know. I don’t talk about my boyfriends, even my ex-husband [Gilles Bensimon],” she says, noting that she hardly mentioned the famed fashion photographer throughout her three-season run on “RHONY” from 2009 to 2011.
“I kept him very private for obvious reasons. I don’t like to exploit men. It’s really not my business model.”
Rather, the former model — who shares daughters Sea, 24, and Teddy, 22, with Gilles, 78 — likes to “celebrate” men and “snuggle with” them.
“I’m very happy right now. I’ve met a lot of really unbelievable men in my life and I just like to keep all of that where it belongs,” she says, adding with a laugh, “… in bed!”
