Prince Andrew reportedly let supermodel sit on Queen’s throne at Buckingham Palace

Prince Andrew tried to woo an American supermodel with dates in Buckingham Palace — even letting her sit on his mom the Queen’s throne, a report said Sunday.

The royal — long-dubbed “Randy Andy” in his homeland — went on a series of dates in 2000 with model Caprice Bourret, a household name in the UK who recently starred in the reality TV show “Dancing On Ice.”

She ultimately “ghosted” the prince because she “didn’t fancy him,” friends told The Sun on Sunday — but not before she was allowed to take a keepsake while being wined and dined in the palace.

“He took her to Buckingham Palace twice, and on one occasion she sat on the Queen’s throne,” a source close to Caprice told the UK paper. “She spotted a bowl she liked and asked Andrew if she could steal it and [mail] it to her mom. She claims that he let her, and her mom loved it!”

Caprice — who also dated rocker Rod Stewart — always treated her dates with Andrew as platonic, the source claims.

“From her side, there was no chance of a snog — she didn’t fancy him,” the source said, using the British term for a passionate kiss. “But as an American, she was thoroughly entertained at the notion he was a part of the Royal Family. Plus all the secretive rendezvous, although unnecessary, were a great family dinner conversation point.”

Their closeness made Prince Harry, who was then just a 16-year-old schoolboy, jealous because he “had Caprice’s calendar on his bedroom wall” in his exclusive private school, Eton, the source suggested.

Caprice finally ended it with Andrew when they started getting linked together in the press, The Sun on Sunday said.

“Caprice ghosted Andrew,” the source said. “She stopped returning his calls. He’d been nothing but a gentleman, but quite simply she didn’t fancy him and ran for the hills when a newspaper article came out linking them — he wasn’t her type and she found him quite dry.”

She instead set him up with a masseuse and “energy healer” named Denise Martell, who the paper claims dated the Duke of York for a year.

A royal source said it would be “quite extraordinary” if Andrew was indeed freely “showing pals around the entire Palace.”

“It’s a particularly strange thing to do, especially given that the Queen could walk around the corner at any given moment!” the source said.

Buckingham Palace has not responded to requests for comment, the Daily Mail said.
