Extra! Extra! Bella Hadid’s Instagram love for a houndstooth newsboy cap has gotten her sued.
The supermodel posted a snap of herself wearing the black-and-white-checked Tommy Hilfiger chapeau, which came from the designer’s collaboration with “Spider-Man” actress Zendaya, to her 28.5 million followers on Sept. 9.
“@zendaya made this hat so I shall wear this hat until I can no longer wear this hat anymore @tommyhilfiger,” Hadid wrote.
The photographer who snapped the image claims the supermodel had no right to post it and is infringing on his copyright, according to Manhattan Federal Court papers.
Brooklyn shutterbug Timur Mishiev is seeking unspecified damages.
Kim Kardashian is facing a similar lawsuit, after a photographer accused her of copyright infringement for posting a photo he took of her and husband Kanye West without permission.
