Prince William ‘sad and shocked’ by Harry’s behavior toward the Queen: report

Sources close to Prince William claim the royal is currently “really sad and genuinely shocked” by brother Prince Harry’s choice to be “insulting and disrespectful” toward grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

The Times report indicates The Duke of Cambridge was “very upset” by Harry and wife, Meghan Markle’s reply to Queen Elizabeth’s announcement that they would officially stepping down from their royal duties. One source close to the family called the move “petulant and insulting to the Queen,” adding, “Don’t disrespect your granny, Harry.”

Another source agreed, saying, “You don’t answer the Queen back — it’s just not done.”

Other family members were also reportedly “stunned” by the tone of Harry and Meghan’s reply, which directly addressed the Queen’s claim that the pair can no longer be of public service.

“Once he got over the anger of how things happened, he was left with the absence of his brother,” said an aide. “They had shared everything about their lives — an office, a foundation, meetings together most days — and there was a lot of fun along the way. He’ll miss it forever.”

A friend of William’s added he “definitely feels the pressure now it’s all on him. His future looks different because of his brother’s choices — it’s not easy.”

Another friend of the brothers added, “I know things are desperately sad and bad, but when the chips are down, those brothers will be there for each other.”
