Michelle Williams and fiancé Thomas Kail may have secretly tied the knot after stepping out wearing wedding rings.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together, was spotted in NYC days before the city was put on lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Kail directed Williams in the Fox FX miniseries “Fosse/Verdon”, for which she won the Emmy Award for lead actress. And the pair looked loved up as they walked the Golden Globe Awards red carpet together in January, where Williams unveiled her baby bump.
They were first photographed together in London where Williams was filming “Venom 2”.
Williams, who has a 14-year-old daughter Matilda with the late actor Heath Ledger, was spotted buying baby clothes at Seraphine’s maternity boutique in Kensington.
A source declined to confirm whether Williams and Kail had got married. But speaking in December, a source told People magazine: “Michelle fell in love. She is happy and fulfilled and ready for another child.”
Williams was briefly married to indie musician Phil Elverum from summer 2018 to early 2019.
She’s been candid about finding love after Ledger’s death in 2008. “I never gave up on love,” she told Vanity Fair in 2018 about moving on. “I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody
thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.’”
