Harvey Weinstein faced protesters early Monday as he arrived ahead of his highly anticipated rape trial.
The 67-year-old disgraced movie mogul was again pushing a walker as he arrived at Manhattan criminal court in a black suit and tie.
At least a dozen protesters were waiting close to where his black SUV pulled up, many holding signs saying, “Justice for Survivors.”
“Thank God your mother’s not here to see this,” one woman shouted as he walked slowly toward the courthouse.
Many others — including actresses Rosanna Arquette and Rose McGowan — are expected to hold a press conference Monday morning near court as part of the “Silence Breakers” activist group.
Reporters from around the world began lining up at the Centre Street building at 4:30 a.m. with hundreds forming lines both inside and outside the building to try to guarantee spots inside the courtroom.
Weinstein was in court Monday for a final status conference before jury selection begins on Tuesday. His trial is expected to last six weeks.
Weinstein faces two counts of predatory sexual assault, two counts of rape and one count of criminal sex act. The allegations involved three women, “Sopranos” actress Annabella Sciorra, her production assistant Mimi Haleyi and an unidentified woman.
The rape and criminal sex act charges stem from the alleged attacks on Haleyi in 2006 and the anonymous woman in 2013. Sciorra, who is expected to testify, has accused Weinstein of sexually assaulting her in 1993 or 1994.
He faces life in prison, if convicted of predatory sexual assault.
