Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes took their daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, for a hike in Los Feliz, Calif., on Wednesday. The notoriously private couple are rarely seen together or out with their kids.
But the photos also revealed that Mendes, 46, is wearing a ring on her left-hand ring finger, sparking speculation that the couple has gotten engaged after nearly a decade together.
In the images, Gosling, 40, sports a Navy hat, jeans and boots, while his daughter Esmeralda wears a David Bowie shirt. All four are properly masked.
Mendes and Gosling have been romantically linked since 2011; they welcomed Esmeralda in September 2014 and Amada in April 2016. “I never wanted babies before until I fell in love with Ryan,” Mendes said in October.
“I think I was 42 for the second [kid,] so it worked out in that way that I had a career and then I change my focus to my family,” she added.
Reps for Gosling and Mendes did not immediately return a request for comment.
