Surprise! Ellie Kemper has been a mom of two for a month.
“Happy 1-Month Birthday to our baby boy, Matthew!” the actress wrote on Instagram of a selfie of her and her baby boy on Saturday. “He has inherited his dad’s brown hair and his mom’s desire to be carried around all day in a baby sling. He’s a good boy. ❤️❤️“
Last month — most likely around the time the baby was born — she joked about his arrival with a pic of her baby bump captioned, “102 weeks pregnant!”
Matthew is the former “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” star’s second child with husband Michael Koman. The couple also shares 3-year-old son, James Miller Koman.
The 39-year-old announced she was expecting in June.
Opening up about her pregnancy in August, Kemper said on the “Today” show that she was concerned about a potential sibling rivalry.
“We keep talking about it,” Kemper shared when asked if James realized he had a brother on the way. “It’s like, you don’t want them to be shocked but, I mean, [I’m] definitely terrified that he’s going to feel very jealous.”
