Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner thanked healthcare workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic by donating 100 meals to a hospital in Los Angeles.

On Monday, Fueling The Fearless — a non-profit dedicated to “feeding tireless hospital workers at the front lines of COVID-19” — posted an image of the staff at East LA Doctors Hospital to their Instagram account accompanied by the caption: “A BIG THANK YOU to @joejonas @sophiet @philymack @shondamcintyre for donating 100 meals to East LA Doctors Hospital. This hospital is in the heart of downtown LA and serves a vastly underprivileged community with limited resources and support.”

Platters of falafel, pita, salad, rice, and Mediterranean dips from Aliki’s Greek Taverna were delivered directly to the hospital’s doctors and nurses.

“Through these type[s] of fully paid sponsorships @alikisgreektaverna and her donors bring a moment of relief to a most grateful staff,” the post continued. “One hot meal lets them know we are all in this together.”

The medical workers expressed their gratitude for the couple’s kindness.

“Big thank you to @joejonas@sophiet and @fuelingthefearless for sending us lunch on Friday!!” Katrina Arafiles wrote on Instagram. “It’s so motivating to know people out there support our healthcare workers! Thanks again! ❤️”

Jonas, 30, and Turner, 24, are expecting their first child and have been holed up in quarantine together amid the coronavirus outbreak.
