A devastated Nick Carter took to Twitter on Monday to reveal wife Lauren Kitt suffered a miscarriage.
“God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. 😢. I’m heart broken,” the Backstreet Boy penned, later confirming he and Kitt, 35, had been expecting a daughter.
“It was a little sister for Odin,” Carter, 38, posted.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, welcomed their first child, son Odin Reign, two years later in April 2016.
Carter, currently touring South America, debated about postponing his Lima, Peru, show on Monday night following the news.
“I don’t think I can perform tonight. I’m sorry Lima,” Carter tweeted, before changing his mind.
