Amid reports that Kanye West is scaring friends by saying he’s going to take control of every aspect of his work, we hear that West has fired manager Scooter Braun.
The Blast reported on Monday that people close to the rapper worry that he has been acting in a way that’s similar to his behavior just before his breakdown in 2016, telling people that “Yeezy is the new Apple” and saying he doesn’t need people with “titles” doing things for him.
West hired Braun a couple of years ago, and took on more responsibility in March of this year after West’s longtime manager Izvor “Izzy” Zivkovic stepped down. But sources tell us that it’s over between West and Braun.
West has spent the past week tweeting “philosophy,” upsetting fans by praising with the right-wing commentators and reportedly telling a radio host that he “love[s] Donald Trump.”
