Sade — who beat out Adele as the highest earning UK music act in America in 2012 thanks to a comeback tour — is working on a new album.

Her collaborator Stuart Matthewman revealed in a new interview that he and the sultry singer have “a bunch of songs” for a follow-up to 2010 album “Soldier of Love.” “[Sade’s] not interested in the fame or any of that [other] stuff,” he told Rated R&B. “She likes to put out art. So when it’s ready, it will come out.”

Sade recently released her first new song in seven years for the Reese Witherspoon-Oprah Winfrey film, “A Wrinkle in Time.”

Meantime, Matthewman said Sade’s label, Epic, “knows there’s no point in nagging us or giving us deadlines. It doesn’t really help the process.”
