Ozzy Osbourne’s health is improving, but he’s still not well enough to perform.
The rocker’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, took to Twitter late Monday to announce that he must cancel a slew of concert dates for his No More Tours II tour, including stops in Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He’s already postponed European tour dates.
“Ozzy recently developed pneumonia & has spent some time in hospital,” Sharon said in a brief statement. “He is through the worst part. His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full 6 weeks.”
Ozzy, 70, landed in the ICU earlier this month for complications from the flu. That was after his coughing was so intense that he ruptured a blood vessel in his eye.
And, at the end of 2018, the Black Sabbath frontman nearly died from a manicure after contracting a serious infection in his thumb that spread to his right hand.
