Backstreet Boy Nick Carter says he filed restraining order against brother Aaron Carter

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter says that he and his sister brought a restraining order against their brother Aaron Carter after — he claims — Aaron confessed to harboring intentions of “killing my pregnant wife and unborn child.”

“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today,” Nick, 39, said in a tweet Tuesday night.

“In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.”

The statement continued: “We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”

According to the temporary restraining order, Aaron must stay at least 100 feet away from Nick, his wife, Lauren Kitt, their kids, other family members and their residence in Las Vegas, reported TMZ, which obtained the order.

Aaron, 31, denied the claims his brother made, writing in a tweet Tuesday night: “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”

The younger Carter singer, whose family has been concerned over his mental state, went on a rant Tuesday night in a series of tweets in response to his family filing a restraining order against him.

“I’ll be just fine without them. They need to leave me alone. Michael Jackson told me this was gonna happen and he was right,” Aaron tweeted.

In another tweet, in which Aaron shared an old clip from the reality TV show “House of Carters” that showed Aaron and Nick arguing, Aaron wrote: “LEAVE ME ALONE. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. IM BEGGING YOU. PLEASE. I haven’t even seen you guys and nick you bullied me my whole life. And tortured me as a child. And everyone knows it. ITS BEEN PUBLIC. and now you’re scared of the truth.”

“So my brother just got a … restraining order against me. And I was just served lol,” Aaron said in an earlier tweet.

“Take care. @nickcarter we’re done for life,” another tweet read.

Aaron has claimed that cops have been to his home eight times in two weeks to check on his mental health.

A rep for Carter previously told Page Six: “Aaron is following the law and continues to be fully cooperative with any and all inquiries made by law enforcement. There have been multiple wellness checks made and none have ever resulted in any action.”
