Kevin Hart‘s wife, Eniko Parrish, gave an update on her husband’s health after he was involved in a major car crash early Sunday and underwent surgery.
“He’s great. He’s going to be just fine,” she told TMZ outside the hospital where he’s recovering.
Hart, 40, suffered “major back injuries” after his friend Jared Black, who was driving the comedian’s electric blue 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, veered off Los Angeles’ Mulholland Highway, crashed through a wooden fence and fell into a gully.
The star had surgery and is expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
Parrish, who had been heading back to the hospital with Starbucks in hand, also told TMZ that her husband was awake and in good spirits.
Black was pinned in the car after the crash and was flown to UCLA Medical Center.
Hart and Parrish share son Kenzo, who was born in November 2017.
