Ex-Weinstein exec claims he was stiffed out of $450K

A former exec at Harvey Weinstein’s film company claims in a lawsuit that he was stiffed out of $450,000 after he resigned when he uncovered that the mogul’s brother leaked information to the media about Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct.

Frank Gil, the former human resources head at The Weinstein Company, claims in the suit that Weinstein ordered him to investigate the sexual misconduct claims against him and who from the company leaked information to the New York Times in the fall of 2017.

Gil determined Weinstein’s brother, Bob Weinstein, and then-company COO David Glasser, leaked the bombshell allegations that brought the disgraced film mogul down, according to the suit.

During his investigation, Gil also discovered that Glasser and the CFO had embezzled company money, the court papers claim.

The suit does not provide evidence to support his claim.

Gil — who informed Harvey Weinstein of his findings — was suspended three days later and eventually resigned, the court papers allege.

He claimed he signed an agreement on Oct. 6, 2017 with Weinstein Live Entertainment that he would be paid a $450,000 — which Weinstein personally guaranteed to pay even if he was fired.

Gil claims in the suit that he’s still owed that money.

He also claims that Bob Weinstein and Glasser smeared him in the media, saying he removed personnel files and other documents from TWC offices, the lawsuit alleges.

“These statements were damaging to Mr. Gil’s reputation and were made in retaliation for Mr. Gil’s investigation into the improper activities at TWC,” his Manhattan Supreme Court suit claims.

Gil says he hasn’t been able to get a job since.

Bob Weinstein, Harvery Weinstein did not immediately return request for comment.

David Glasser declined to comment.
