Lindsay Lohan still cashing in on ‘lifestyle’ app despite not posting

Is it a “Lo” down dirty tactic — or just an oversight?

Lindsay Lohan is still cashing in on her long-dormant app, Page Six has painfully realized — after noticing that we’d forgotten to cancel our subscription. Lohan launched a “lifestyle” app in 2017, offering fans exclusive content that wasn’t available on her regular Instagram account for $2.99 a month.

It’s mainly a series of selfies and pictures with pals. After a tepid response from fans, Lohan appeared to stop posting pictures and videos on it three months later. But according to documents obtained by Page Six (a reporter’s bank statement), the app — which was run by tech company Preemium — has been charging the subscription fee every month — although there haven’t been new posts.

The charges show up on statements as “LINDSAY LOHAN SILKEBORG 06/09.” Curiously, Silkeborg is an obscure Danish town known locally for its freshwater aquarium. We figure we’ve now forked over $62.79 without so much as a glimpse behind the scenes at Lohan’s fast-paced, jet-setting breakdowns.

It’s not clear how many other followers are still paying.

In August 2017, we reported that the app — which People more than somewhat optimistically predicted could be “the next Goop” — was struggling to make an impression.

A rep for Lohan declined to comment. Preemium didn’t get back to us.
