Dennis Quaid, 65, and fiancée Laura Savoie, 26, postpone wedding

Their “I Do’s” will have to wait.

Dennis Quaid and fiancée Laura Savoie have reportedly postponed their wedding.

“Laura and Dennis are postponing their wedding and are telling people it’s due to ‘travel issues’ and not coronavirus,” a source recently told Us Weekly.

Quaid, 65, and Savoie, 26, got engaged in October 2019. He popped the question with a five-century-old ring while they were vacationing together in Hawaii.

“It happened on the very northernmost point of Oahu, at Turtle Bay. It was kind of spontaneous,” he told Extra. “It was very much a surprise.”

Page Six confirmed that the “Parent Trap” actor was dating the University of Texas student in June 2019.

While their 39-year age gap has drawn criticism, both Quaid and Savoie have defended their love for one another.

“I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me,” he told The Guardian in November 2019. “I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed. You have no control over who you fall in love with. I don’t fall in love easy. But I can’t let what a few people think control all that. I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is. I feel like I have a real partner in life.”

Quaid previously dated model Santa Auzina after his 16-year marriage to Kimberly Buffington ended in 2018. He was also married to Meg Ryan from 1991 to 2001 and P.J. Soles from 1978 to 1983.

He shares son Jack, 27, with Ryan and twins Thomas and Zoe, 12, with Buffington.

Meanwhile, Savoie previously dated Jeremy Piven.

Quaid’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
