Inside Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s final moments before prison

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino‘s final moments before he began serving his eight-month sentence for tax evasion have been revealed.

In a YouTube video, posted Monday, the “Jersey Shore” star, 36, is seen riding in the back of an SUV with wife Lauren Pesce, as they drove to the Federal Correctional Institute in Otisville, New York, last week.

“I’m going to work out every day, get in great shape, get ready to come back and film Season 3. That’s it,” Sorrentino is heard saying in a voiceover.

“The day before was the only day I felt a little bit of anxiety,” he added. “Today I have a sense of just happy to put this behind me.”

Before entering the prison’s front gates, Sorrentino has one final embrace with Pesce before stating, “now take me to jail,” a la “Goodfellas.”

“So proud to call this incredible man my husband,” Pesce posted Jan. 15 on Instagram. “Just found this pic from Lake Tahoe the year we got back together in 2013 ♥️ to the strongest man I know, I love you endlessly, see you soon honey #FreeSitch.”

On Thursday, Pesce also provided an update to Sorrentino’s fans, revealing he has received thousands of letters since checking into Otisville.

“Hi Everyone, it’s Lauren. Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support. We speak everyday & he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude …,” she tweeted from Sorrentino’s account.

“Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time. Lots of Love, Michael & Lauren Sorrentino.”

Sorrentino had previously given fans his prison address, encouraging loved ones and admirers to write him letters.
