Joel Osteen officiates Sharon Bush and Robert Murray’s nuptials

Televangelist Joel Osteen officiated the wedding of Sharon Bush and financier Robert Murray Saturday in Manhattan.

Bush’s daughter Lauren Bush Lauren made a toast including the quip, “My mother loves her grandchildren, sports and Page Six.” We reported in October that Bush and Murray were engaged. Lauren added, “My mother’s new husband likes to cook, garden and compost, and I can safely say that my mother doesn’t do any of those things.”

Bush’s other kids, Ashley and Pierce, from her marriage to ex Neil Bush, also made toasts, and Lauren’s kids were ringbearers. The groom joked, we hear “I’ve never been impressed with politicians or celebrities, but I didn’t hold Sharon’s past against her.” Alex Donner’s orchestra played, and guests left with bags form Lauren’s charity FEED.

Guests included Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Wendy Federman, Maria and Kenneth Fishel, Christine and George Leeds, Jean and Martin Shafiroff, George Farias and Alison Mazzola, who organized the wedding.
