Kim Kardashian and Kanye West donated $25,000 to her personal photographer, Marcus Hyde, to help alleviate costs stemming from his hospitalization following a serious car crash last month.
The generous GoFundMe donation brought fundraising to $29,360. The original goal was $10,000.
“As many know, Marcus Hyde was in a serious car accident at the end of October, resulting in him being hospitalized with serious injuries,” the GoFundMe page reads. “He is still currently being hospitalized and will be for quite some time. With that being said, he has a long road to recovery.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” star also shared the page on her Twitter and asked followers to donate if they could. “If you are able to help the family would be so grateful!” she wrote.
Hyde lost control of his Mercedes as he drove up the Malibu coast in October, TMZ reported. His car smashed through a fence on the Pacific Coast Highway and smashed into the embankment.
Paramedics said Hyde suffered seizures as they pulled him out of the wreck.
