No wonder he’s kept those Marky Mark abs.
When Mark Wahlberg took to Instagram on Tuesday to answer some questions about his fitness routine, he surprised followers by giving them a look into his grueling daily schedule, which typically begins at 2:30 a.m.
The rapper-turned-actor, 47, who’s always been known for his physique, gets in two workouts a day, a cryotherapy session, and a round of golf. The rest of the day is filled with time for family, work, scheduled snacks and a shower after each workout. His days are so busy, he heads to bed at 7:30 p.m.
Even on the road, Wahlberg sticks to his schedule as Page Six exclusively reported in August that a Manhattan Equinox gym opened up for him at 3:45 a.m. (albeit five minutes later than his strict at-home start time).
The “Daddy’s Home” actor also gave a shout-out to his trainers, Brian Nguyen and Bo Cleary, and his chef, Lawrence Duran — whom Wahlberg has dubbed “the 4 a.m. club.”
During a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Wahlberg spoke about the benefits of cryotherapy, telling her, “It is great for recovery, and it just takes all the inflammation out of your body [and] it helps you sleep.”
Good thing, because with his schedule, he’ll need all the sleep he can get.
