‘Bachelor’ contestant Cristy Caserta dead at 38

A former contestant on “The Bachelor” died suddenly this week after suffering an apparent seizure in South Florida, authorities said.

Cristy Caserta, 38, — a lawyer who appeared on season 15 of the ABC reality show — was attending a training class in Sunrise, Fla. when she slumped over unconscious at her desk, police said. She was unresponsive when classmates checked on her.

“She just went out,” Sunrise Police Department spokesman Luis Fernandez told The Post.

She was rushed to Westside Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead just before 9 a.m. Thursday.

Caserta’s family said she was in good health before her death, authorities said.

An autopsy report found no evidence of trauma, Fernandez said. Toxicology results are pending.

Caserta was on “The Bachelor” “for a hot minute,” she wrote on her Twitter profile. She was eliminated during the first week of the show.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken about Cristy,” Ashley Spivey,  a fellow contestant during the show’s 2011 season told Us Magazine. “She was one of the kindest people I met on the first night of the show and she continued to be an amazing friend. She was as smart and funny as she was beautiful. She will be deeply missed in this world.”

Caserta, who described herself as  “an easy going South Florida girl,” began a new job in January as corporate counsel for MedPro HealthCare Staffing, according to her Facebook profile.

Online posts show her traveling and loving life with friends.

On her birthday in August, she beamed in front of her special cake. “My heart is full! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all of the Birthday wishes, smiles, and special surprises! I’m a lucky girl!”
