Lance Bass’ FaceApp posts spark *NSYNC reunion rumors

Fans just don’t want to say “Bye Bye Bye” to these guys.

In the latest celebrity contribution of elderly FaceApp edits, Lance Bass offered some major nostalgia for fans — some of whom think it’s a sign that *NSYNC is reuniting.

Bass, 40, posted a photo of his former boy band edited with the FaceApp “old” filter in three parts on Instagram on Wednesday. He captioned each post with “When we finally reunite,” and on his Instagram Story wrote, “Reunion tour 2050.”

Many fans took the posts as a sign of an impending reunion tour. “So what you’re saying is that there’s a chance?” one commenter wrote.

Regardless of the wrinkles and grayed hair, fans clearly want a reunion. “I’ll be front row even if y’all are in your 80’s,” another commented. One person joked that they’d attend the reunion tour, “As long and you guys incorporate your walkers into the choreography.”

Even Joey Fatone chimed in — “And damn it I look the same !!!”

These hopes aren’t without basis. In June, Bass spoke to Variety after the group reunited at Coachella without Justin Timberlake, stating that the band will “sit down this summer to figure it out.”

“[Coachella] was incredible and it was a big moment for NSYNC,” Bass said. “We hadn’t performed that song [‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’] with that choreography since 1998, so when Ariana [Grande] told us she wanted to do that song, we were like, ‘We have to relearn that thing.’ It’s amazing how the moves and harmonies came back so quickly.”
