Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito are still separated, but not divorcing

Rhea Perlman and Danny DeVito are still separated — but they’re not divorcing.

“Danny and I have always loved each other and we have three amazing children together and we really agree on almost everything important and so, you know, we were together for 40 years,” she said on Thursday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

“Forty years is a long time!” she added. “You might have to do something else! It’s OK!”

Perlman, 71, and DeVito, 74, married in 1982 and split in 2012. They reconciled in 2013 before separating again in 2017. They share three children, Lucy, 36, Grace, 34, and Jacob, 31.

The actress added that she and DeVito are very friendly and they speak all the time — they even chatted earlier in the day.

“It’s much better [now] because all the tense stuff is gone,” she continued. “It’s not in your face. I’m not in his face. He’s not in mine … there was a hard transition through the kids and everything but everybody’s got a good relationship with Danny and with me and with each other and that’s all we care about.”

“But I’m not getting divorced,” she made clear. “That’s not in the picture … what for? We do live separately. We see each other a lot, too.”

The “Poms” star’s appearance with Whoopi Goldberg came after Perlman said the studio behind the film wouldn’t let her tape with Anjelica Huston because she dissed the movie in a New York magazine interview.

Huston later apologized for her remarks.
