Paris Hilton, Zendaya support Bella Thorne after Whoopi Goldberg’s nude photo comments

Stars are rallying around Bella Thorne following her war of words with Whoopi Goldberg over Thorne’s decision to tweet out her own nude photos before an alleged hacker could.

After Goldberg said on Monday’s episode of “The View” that celebrities should know better than to take naked photos of themselves, Thorne, 21, posted a sobbing video aimed at the talk show host that garnered support from a number of her famous pals.

“@zendaya called me today to make sure I was ok, we talked a lot about this generation, the one before us as well, and how as women we shouldn’t feel bad about ourselves our bodies,” Thorne wrote on Instagram of her “Shake It Up” co-star Zendaya. “Slut shaming is one of the biggest topics of this generation but yet we still keep going some how. It’s really really sad. 🚫 the view 🚫.”

Thorne also Instagrammed a series of supportive exchanges from her friends — including Lucy Hale, Madison Beer and Lily-Rose Depp — and commented, “When ur friends come out of the woodworks to support u is all u need to be brave.”

“Good for you baby girl. I’m so proud of you for speaking up,” Hale wrote in an exchange that Thorne posted. “This breaks my heart. But you’re making a difference for other girls and women.”

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton — whose infamous 2004 sex tape was leaked — commented on Thorne’s post with a heart-eyed emoji and model Lottie Moss sent her love with a series of hearts.

On Monday’s episode of “The View,” the co-hosts delved into Thorne’s decision to release her own nudes after alleged threats from a hacker. Goldberg, 63, said, “If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are, don’t take nude pictures of yourself. When they’re hacking you, they’re hacking all of your stuff … You cannot be surprised that someone has hacked you, especially if you have stuff on your phone. That’s why they’re hacking you.”

Thorne responded that she was “so displeased and sadden [sic]” by Goldberg’s comments and planned to cancel an upcoming appearance on the show “because I don’t want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for my body and my sexuality.”

Page Six reached out to “The View” to see whether Thorne had actually been scheduled for an interview.
