Matt Lauer re-emerges for Jeff Zucker’s birthday party

Matt Lauer came out of seclusion to celebrate Jeff Zucker’s 54th birthday bash, Page Six has learned.

The disgraced “Today” anchor — who’s been keeping a low profile in the Hamptons since his firing from NBC in 2017 — joined Zucker at the McKittrick Hotel on Saturday.

The CNN chief hosted at the hip space’s new “Speakeasy Magick” show, hosted by “master deceptionist” Todd Robbins.

We’re told that Lauer joined the group, who had a “great time” and “a lot of laughs.”

Other close Zucker colleagues — including Allison Gollust, CNN’s executive VP and chief marketing officer, who came over from NBC with Zucker — also made the guest list, as well as Zucker’s kids.

The exec’s actual birthday was Tuesday.

Zucker was once Lauer’s “Today” executive producer. He left NBC to produce Katie Couric’s ill-fated syndicated talk show before he jumped ship to become the current head of CNN.

The TV chief has been single since he split from Caryn, his wife of 21 years, we revealed in January 2018.

Lauer, meanwhile, is going through a lengthy divorce from his second wife, Annette Roque, following allegations of his sexual misconduct at NBC. We’re told that proceedings are still ongoing after Lauer and Roque both changed legal reps mid-divorce.

A friend previously told us the former newsman is staying low-key in the Hamptons and hanging out with his three kids, adding, “There is no way that he’s thinking about returning to work at all. How could he? He knows there’s no TV role for him now. And to be honest, it’s the furthest thing from his mind.”

We revealed last month that the woman who precipitated Lauer’s downfall — and the loss of his $25 million NBC job — is shopping around a tell-all book.

The former NBC staffer — who was the assistant of Lauer’s ex-“Today” co-host Meredith Vieira — has been speaking to publishing houses. Reps did not comment.
