It was a busy weekend for John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen.
The newly minted EGOT finally celebrated his 40th birthday on Saturday — two weeks after his real birthday — with a James Bond-themed bash thrown by his 33-year-old model wife.
The guest list included the couple’s famous friends Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who posed in a casino setup similar to that in Bond movie “Casino Royale.”
Teigen sparkled in diamonds and a gold dress, while Legend wore a simple white tuxedo with a red flower on the lapel. Kardashian, 38, nearly stole the show in a lacy ensemble as she sat on the table, while her husband went in all black.
Teigen also showed off the kids getting ready for the big party. She shared an Instagram story of daughter Luna wearing a gold dress and asked fans to vote on Twitter which tuxedo Miles should wear.
The party was apparently a big hit.
“Why oh why God did I agree to the people or critics choice whatever it is the night after John’s party this was a big mistake huge yes this is a fancy problem,” Teigen griped on Sunday.
The couple also attended a pre-taped Aretha Franklin celebration Sunday night.
