She said it in “Thank U, Next,” and she’s saying it again: Ariana Grande is only interested in dating herself.
The 25-year-old singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to address rumors about her dating life. When a fan shared a screenshot of an article titled, “Who is Ariana Dating NOW?!” Grande replied, “Can they tell me too?”
She added, “Spoiler for the rest of this year/probably my life: it’s no one. please refer back to this tweet for future questions.”
Grande’s love life had a tumultuous year. First, she split with rapper Mac Miller in the spring and shortly afterward entered a relationship with Pete Davidson. They got engaged a month later, only to call off the wedding in October. Amid her engagement, Miller passed away from an apparent drug overdose.
Upon receiving her Billboard Woman of the Year award, Grande said, “I find it interesting that this has been one of the best years of my career and the worst of my life.”
