‘Foodgod’ Jonathan Cheban displays ‘diva’ behavior at Halloween bash

While George Clooney and Kate Hudson threw starry LA parties for Halloween — some top New York bashes had a more melancholy feel.

Although he was dressed as Willy Wonka, Jonathan Cheban failed to dazzle guests at a party at new Meatpacking club Red Rabbit. One partygoer told us the “Foodgod” was being a “diva.”

“Pouting,” described the spy. “Ignoring everyone. Then he stormed off from his table and stood at the bar service area for a half-hour.”

We hear magician John Stessel and owner Richie Hosein gave out shots, and there was a round of sparklers.

But a Cheban rep told us, “Foodgod stayed over his two-hour commitment, took pics with a hundred people and mingled around the club before he flew out just a few hours later for the Catch Las Vegas opening. Let’s just say the club’s commitment was not settled during his appearance, but was ultimately resolved.”

Meanwhile, over at Marquee, rapper G-Eazy turned up to host the club’s Halloween bash dressed as “Batman” villain Two-Face on Saturday — a day after his ex-girlfriend, singer Halsey, dressed as Poison Ivy for a Gotham-themed bash in LA. That led to speculation that the recently off-again pair had planned to be together for the holiday. People reported Monday that they’d split.

“G-Eazy seemed more mellow than usual,” said a New York clubgoer. “He seemed melancholy.” The rapper performed “No Limit” at the Night of the Fallen party presented by Stillhouse. Also there were model Lais Ribeiro, who was dressed as “X-Men” hero Storm, and former Knick Joakim Noah, who arrived as “Game of Thrones” dude Khal Drogo.

Halsey hinted last week that she and G-Eazy had split again. The couple broke up briefly earlier this year, but reunited in August.
