Bam Margera has announced from rehab that he wants to “join the sober parade.”

The former “Jackass” star, 39, who checked into rehab for the third time last week, explained in a note posted to Instagram over the weekend that he is done using alcohol as a way to cope with losing his friend Ryan Dunn, who died in a drunk driving accident in 2011.

“I have spent enough time grieving over Ryan Dunn through alcohol,” he wrote. “I’m 39 years old, the party is over. I dont plan on drinking anymore. I have wasted too much time at the bad and all my friends who needed decades of help are now all sober. I would like to join the sober parade.”

He continued, “I head the stories of other rehab patients telling me about there weeks or months of horrible detox. Well guess how many days of detox I had? ZERO!”

The pro skateboarder then took a moment to voice his frustrations.

“I am sick of people always thinking I’m drunk, crazy or f–ked up. So if you plan on calling me to tell me that, you can go f–k yourself instead,” he wrote. “I’m not going to suck anyone’s d–k to stay on element and or prove that I am sober, I am sober.”

He captioned the post, “Writing is one thing to do in rehab.”

He also penned his thoughts on how difficult it is not being able to communicate with friends and loved ones outside or rehab, writing, “I don’t do well with not being allowed to facetime my wife and kid…I don’t do well with not being able to answer important calls with important people.”

Margera spent last January in rehab following his DUI arrest in California. He was then sentenced to three years probation.

Things were looking up for the TV personality until he was robbed at gunpoint in Colombia in August, according to TMZ, and started drinking again.
