Jennifer Lawrence has been targeted yet again in the latest online nude photo leak, with 55 more naked images of the actor hitting the internet.
In what is being labelled as ‘The Fappening 3’ by the Reddit and 4chan communities, Lawrence is among a group of celebrities, including supermodel Cara Delevingne and fellow actor Anna Kendrick, who have had private photos leaked.
While Delevingne and Lawrence are naked in the pictures, Kendrick is clothed in all of her 87 leaked pictures. However, there are several images that show the actor partying away in some pretty revealing outfits.
Other identities hit by the leak include American Olympic gold medalist Misty May Treanor and actors Alexandra Chando, Kelli Garner and Lauren O’Neil.
Earlier this week, photos of other US TV personalities, Lizzy Caplan, Jenny McCarthy and Cara Maria Sobello hit the web. All these leaks follow Monday’s leak of Rihanna, Amber Heard, and others; Saturday’s leak of Kim Kardashian, Scarlett Johansson and of course, the first big leak of Lawrence and more.
The pictures were allegedly retrieved due to an iCloud leak that allowed celebrities’ phones and computers to be hacked. The cyber hacker first posted the nude pics on image sharing website 4chan in an attempt to earn Bitcoins.
US authorities have been cracking down on hacking and phone tapping. In 2012, 35-year-old Christopher Chaney was arrested in Florida over nude images he released of Scarlett Johansson and Mila Kunis that he obtained by hacking their emails. Chaney was sentenced to 10 years in prison after a year-long investigation.
Other phone hacking victims in recent years include Mad Men star Christina Hendricks, Blake Lively and Olivia Munn.
