Ashton Kutcher’s twin: ‘He’s going to be an amazing father’

Ashton Kutcher’s twin, Michael, isn’t a movie star — but he was honored as a hero at the Harboring Hearts Summer Soiree at the Rubin Museum.

“At 13, I was having sibling rivalries, beating up on my brother Ashton every day,” said Michael, 36.

But after suffering a viral heart inflammation and going into cardiac arrest, “I was told I had three or four weeks to live prior to receiving a life-saving heart transplant,” he recalled.

Michael — who lives in Iowa and has been a lobbyist for the charity Reaching for the Stars — added, “I’m very fortunate, and it taught me a lot. Life is so precious. I now have two children. Someone gave me life, and because of that I was able to bring life into the world.”

Of his brother, who’s expecting a child with Mila Kunis, Michael was heard saying, “He’s going to be an amazing father . . . they haven’t started going through names, or if they have, they haven’t told me.”

Of Mila, Michael said, “I approve.”

Also at the gala were Harboring Hearts co-founders Michelle Javian and Yuki Kotani, Taye Diggs, Mick Rock and Eric Trump.
