Fans hoping for a Labelle reunion at Nona Hendryx concert

A mini reunion of popular 1970s group Labelle, who brought the world the French-infused soul hit “Lady Marmalade,” could be in the works on Monday at Joe’s Pub.

Patti LaBelle and Sarah Dash will be in the audience to see Nona Hendryx perform at the Lafayette Street venue, and many fans are hoping they’ll join Nona onstage to sing the trio’s biggest hit.

A few weeks ago, Patti invited Hendryx to her opening night of the Broadway play “After Midnight,” and Sarah joined Patti for her barbecue bash in Philadelphia recently. But Monday will be the first time they’d all be together in some time. Sources told us the trio have also discussed recording together again and possibly a tour.
