TV personality Joan Lunden, who announced on “Good Morning America” earlier this summer that she is battling “aggressive breast cancer,” will host her women’s health and wellness retreat, Camp Reveille, in Maine this weekend.
“It gives women a chance to regain their sense of play,” Lunden says of the program. “I’ve been in warrior mode since my diagnosis, which makes this weekend even more special for me. We all need to recharge our batteries, and there is a powerful energy when women get together.”
Lunden has been holding the camp, with activities including yoga, arts and crafts, bonfires and archery, for eight years.
