Cate Blanchett’s performance in the Lincoln Center Festival’s presentation of Sydney Theatre Company’s production of “The Maids” set an unofficial record for the most actresses attending, perhaps hoping to get the role in the film version.
They include Rachel Weisz, who brought husband Daniel Craig, Nicole Kidman, Taylor Schilling, Bernadette Peters, Blythe Danner and Marlo Thomas.
Anne Hathaway and Naomi Watts were both at Saturday’s finale and party at the Roof at the Viceroy.
