Obnoxious ‘heir to half of Manhattan’ exposed

The obnoxious alleged heir to “half of Manhattan” is not who he says he is.

The man seen in a viral video after a boozy brunch, first posted on Gothamist, claiming his name was “Gerry Adjmi” and boasting his dad “owns half of Manhattan,” has considerable influence with Mayor Bill de Blasio and “owns the cops” is actually 20-year-old NYU student Gerry Shalam.

According to The Smoking Gun, Shalam is a New York University student whose father Lou does not own half of Manhattan — but is in fact a garment industry executive who lives in Allenhurst, New Jersey.

According to the report, Shalam is the co-founder of a charity called Brothers Helping Others that helps low-income immigrant families in New Jersey.

Insufferable Shalam shot to fame as the “Belligerent Bruncher,” as he was caught on video after emerging from popular brunch spot Pranna, saying lines including, “Do you want me to call f—g Bill de Blasio on you right now? He’s a f—–g liberal but I’ll f—g call him.”

Before Shalam shot to fame as the “belligerent bloke on the block,” he appeared as Scarecrow in the 2007 production of “Hip Hop Wiz,” based on “The Wizard of Oz,” that benefited the Jewish Community Center in Deal, New Jersey.
