Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton took a page out of her mother’s poor-girl playbook when she said in a recent interview that she does not care about money.

The 34-year-old who recently took a key position at her parent’s Clinton Foundation, and who is reportedly paid $600,000 a year by NBC to occasionally produce stories, told The Telegraph: “I was curious if I could care about [money] on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t.

“That wasn’t the metric of success I wanted in my life.”

Clinton — who last year got a $750,000 discount on her $10 million Madison Square Park home — made the comments after her mother claimed the family was “dead broke” when they left the White House in a bungled attempt to make them appear modest.
