Adam Levine can’t help himself.

The Maroon 5 frontman, 35, who just last week wondered aloud if he was “douchebag,” didn’t do himself any favors in a recent interview where he came off as arrogant as ever.

Things started off innocuously enough, with Levine explaining to USA Today that his latest gig, starring alongside Keira Knightly in “Begin Again,” was a passion project, rather than just another paycheck.

“I did this movie for no money. I’m very lucky that I’m in that position,” he told the paper, before going on to again highlight that money wasn’t something he needed to worry about.

“I want to have good experiences,” he continued. “I don’t want to do a bunch of [expletive] that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money.”

While some might try to play down how fortunate they are, Levine has no interest in doing that, because he’s not going to censor his thoughts for anyone.

“I don’t have much of a filter,” the singer said. “The most important thing is to be honest and not say things because you think you have to be a certain way.”

In other words, Levine – who’s set to marry model fiancée, Behati Prinsloo, later this year — is really pleased with his life and has no problem letting everyone know it.

“I’m so happy that I get to have this life,” he said. “It’s funny because no one knows how good my life is as well as I do.”
