Movie stardom wasn’t the only thing that came easily to Daniel Radcliffe.
According to the “Harry Potter” star, who turned 25 earlier this week, losing his virginity was a delight.
“I’m one of the few people who seem to have had a really good first time,” the actor said in the August issue of Elle.
The actor, who’s currently dating his “Woman in Black” co-star Erin Darke, credits his comfort level with his first partner for why things went so smoothly.
“It was with somebody I’d gotten to know well. I’m happy to say I’ve had a lot better sex since then, but it wasn’t as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other people’s were — like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge.”
Radcliffe, who’s spoken about his struggles with alcohol in the past, said he’s also learned that sex is best minus a buzz.
“For some people sex might be better drunk, but for me — and the person I’m doing it with — it’s much better sober,” he said.
The actor, who stripped down for the play “Equus,” also addressed what it’s like to get naked for a project.
“I mean, I’m fairly comfortable with it,” he said. “There’s something to be said for getting naked onstage when you’re 17. I was f–king terrified then.”
Radcliffe’s next movie, the romantic comedy “What If,” is due Aug. 8. The actor was supposed to arrive at Comic-Con on Thursday to promote another upcoming film, “Horns,” but got held up in Toronto because of a visa issue.
