Cam Gigandet has some strong words for his former “O.C.” co-stars.
In a candid interview with Elle, the “Reckless” actor, 31, who appeared on the show’s 2005-06 season, says he doesn’t stay in touch with anyone from the popular series.
“No. Actually, Ben McKenzie was kind of mean to me,” Gigandet explained. “I hadn’t done anything at that point and he was a little bit of an ass. But I love him. I think he’s a great actor and I love ‘Southland.’”
And as for Misha Barton, well, he’s deleted her from his memory.
“Misha? I didn’t really … Was she there?” asked Gigandet. “I don’t even have memories of her.”
Gigandet says he did learn a lot from the experience but concludes his time there was awful. “But the things I remember now — none of them are good. It was only the third or fourth season. Those kids were f–king miserable. They were just — they would not remember their lines on purpose. They were young. That said, I don’t talk to anyone I’ve ever worked with.”
What about his “Burlesque” co-stars? He doesn’t talk with any of them except Nick Thune.
“I’m not saying any of them are terrible, I’ve loved a lot of them, but I talk to one.”
