After Alexander Wang and Dior launched fashion shows in Brooklyn, designer Prabal Gurung has become another chic booster for the borough.
“I think when we talk about New York, it’s all about Manhattan,” he said during a panel called Living New York with Joe Zee, Karen Elson, Karim Rashid, Stacy Engman and Paul Haggis at the W Times Square Tuesday.
“But when I go to Brooklyn…the energy is crazy, it’s insane.” Rashid had other ideas. “I’m ready to move — I want to go to a planet without CVS,” he said.
