Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are one of Hollywood’s most hilarious couples, but the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star says his wife is the funnier one.
“She is, by far! Jack [their almost 2-year old son] has started to do very rudimentary art at school — maybe a few splots of paint across a piece of paper — and Anna gives them the funniest names. There’s one on the fridge called ‘Everything is Realized’ and another one called ‘Time Is a Human Construct,'” Pratt told Redbook for its August issue.
It seems the 35-year-old actor and Faris are laughing their way through parenthood, too.
“I’ve always been pretty busy — just with things like drinking beer,” Pratt said. “Now I’m watching ‘Daniel Tiger’ videos online and singing the ABC song. I heard someone say pretty accurately that in parenthood, there’s never a dull moment, even though every moment is dull. I’m experiencing way more real and lasting highs — but they’re a little fewer and farther between.”
But becoming a dad has also shed light on Pratt’s own habits at home.
“Having to follow Jack around and pick up after him made me realize how often Anna had been doing that for me. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, why is all this crap everywhere? Oh, right, someone was picking it up for me.’ So I’m not taking that for granted anymore,” he said.
