Pregnancy in Hollywood was once a thing where stars went into hiding for months while feasting on protein shakes and power walking around their lavish compounds.

But who needs seclusion when you look as good as these celebrities from the start? Many of these celebs were fit before becoming pregnant — and pledged to do extensive workouts to keep their trim physiques.

Heads up, new moms and moms-to-be: Here are a few gleaming examples of how staying fierce and fit is done.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi

The once-beer-guzzling “Jersey Shore” party girl is now a refined, fit mom who spreads messages of wellness to the masses.

Now, in the beginning of her second pregnancy, Snooki, 26, maintains her shape by flipping tires and lifting weights.

Singer Rowland never has a day off. That’s why she has the most enviable abs in Hollywood.

Only a few months along, the newly married singer trains with resistance bands while balancing on a stability ball. Rowland’s baby boy will make his arrival in December.

Hilaria Baldwin

The idea of pregnancy doesn’t get any more fit than a woman who can do a steady headstand without blinking an eye.

Even with child, Baldwin would hit a figure-slimming yoga pose almost anywhere. Here, 10-month-old baby Carmen gets in on the action.

For some Hollywood moms, getting back into tip-top shape can take a bit of work. Sims gained nearly 70 pounds when she was pregnant with her son, Brooks, in 2012.

After months of pounding it out in the gym, she noticed the weight wasn’t coming off. The 41-year-old Sports Illustrated beauty later discovered that she was dealing with a post-pregnancy thyroid condition.

After changing her diet and switching up the workout routine, Sims was back to bikini form in 2013.

Kristin Cavallari

The “Fabulist” host and recent Fit Pregnancy cover star has always been about leading a healthy lifestyle.

She dished to the magazine that she depended on high-energy foods like quinoa and sipped coconut water instead of sugary sports drinks while she carried newborn son Jaxon Wyatt.

Ciara

R&B singer Ciara gave birth a little more than a month ago, and all the while relied on Hollywood trainer Gunnar Peterson to keep her body toned and in check.

On Instagram, the 28-year-old showed off working out on the StairMaster, medicine ball exercises, and even a few squats while pregnant. Clearly she would not allow her “goodies” to go to waste.
