Kim Kardashian‘s pal Brittny Gastineau showed up at famed Los Angeles eateries, and popular paparazzi hangouts, Mr Chow and Craig’s, sporting a nasty shiner on Tuesday night.
Hours after the shocking photo hit the Internet, it’s come out that the black eye is the result of a physical altercation with Marquis Lewis, a street artist better known as Retna, reports TMZ.
Lewis’ lawyer, Michael Goldstein, doesn’t deny the incident, but despite how bad Gastineau may look, he claims that his client is a victim as well.
According to Goldstein, Gastineau paid his client a visit at the London hotel is West Hollywood early last week as he was recovering from knee surgery when the two got into fight.
Despite the visible marks on the reality star’s face, he claims his client got it just as bad, ending up with a battered face, a cut ear and an injured painting hand.
Bizarrely, Goldstein also claims that the pair are close to settling their differences.
“They’re cool with each other,” the lawyer said.
