Jaimie Alexander can’t stand unaired ‘Wonder Woman’ pilot

Jaimie Alexander — who plays superheroine Sif in “Thor” and its upcoming sequel “Thor: The Dark World” — is disgusted with the never-aired “Wonder Woman” pilot David E. Kelley made for NBC back in 2011.

“It’s embarrassing for me as a woman, seeing what they did with that TV show,” Alexander told MTV News, quickly adding, “It had nothing to do with that amazing actress Adrianne Palicki.”

“You’ve got very few female superheroes that are dominating films these days, unless they’re in a skintight outfit and their boobs are pushed up to their chin, you know? And it’s not OK. It’s not . . . Why does she [Wonder Woman] have to be in hot pants and spandex and all this stuff?”

Alexander continued, “All she does is sit and eat ice cream while she’s crying over a boy. I know that never aired, but that’s what the script said and I was like, ‘What?!’”

Alexander was rumored to be up for the Wonder Woman role in the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman” movie. (The part went to Israeli actress Gal Gadot.)
