Beyoncé and Jay Z were all smiles at Monday’s Brooklyn Nets playoff game, after one of the most trying days of the couple’s six-year marriage.
The all-star duo showed up in the second quarter of the Miami Heat’s 102-96 victory over the Nets at the Barclays Center, and looked the part of a happy couple, even taking some time to yuck it up with LeBron James.
As serene as things may have looked courtside, the appearance came hours after video surfaced showing the legendary rapper being attacked by his sister-in-law, Solange, in an elevator at the Standard hotel following a Met Ball after-party.
In the security cam footage, Beyoncé’s sister can be seen lashing out physically and verbally at the “Magna Carta … Holy Grail” artist before being restrained by a man thought to be a bodyguard, while the “Drunk in Love” singer quietly stands by, only moving to adjust the train of her gown.
