“Ted 2” star Amanda Seyfried and “Pitch Perfect 2” star Rebel Wilson were meant to team up in the comedy “He’s F - - king Perfect” for Will Ferrell and his partner Adam McKay to produce — but Page Six has learned that the project will have to wait.

Sources said that Universal Pictures has put the social-media comedy on the back burner due to scheduling issues involving Seyfried and Wilson’s higher-profile projects for the studio.

“It’s unsure whether the project will come back together with the same cast,” said a source.

Seyfried was meant to star as a tech-savvy gal who vets friends’ dates through social media.

In the process, she finds the perfect man for herself. The project by Funny or Die director Jake Szymanski has bounced around before: It was first bought by Fox to star Emma Stone before landing at Universal, which already has a slate filled with comedies.

Besides Seyfried and Wilson’s aforementioned sequels, the studio is gearing up to release comedies including “Neighbors,” “A Million Ways To Die in the West” and “Dumb and Dumber To.”
