L’Wren’s ‘eerie’ Facebook post

A photo of dresses hanging from a tree which was posted on L’Wren Scott’s Facebook page hours after her death has been labeled an “eerie” coincidence.

Both Scott’s Facebook and Twitter profiles continued to update after news of her death was confirmed, confusing fans and friends as to whether her passing was just another celebrity death hoax.

The pre-written post containing the picture of the dresses had been scheduled to automatically publish on her account, but the image deeply upset and confused those who were grieving.

Given the circumstances of her death, the image was described as “beyond sad.”

The picture uploaded onto L’Wren Scott’s Facebook page, which has since been deleted.Facebook

But it wasn’t just Facebook that was updating after the news of her death spread.

Two tweets were also posted, with famous fashion blogger Brian Boy tweeting his confusion after seeing one of her posts.

Both Scott’s Twitter and Facebook, as well as her Instagram, have since been deleted, with the team who help run her social media being labeled “insensitive” and “disrespectful” for not preventing the updates from being sent.

“PR company should really keep up with their client’s Google alerts,” wrote one user on her Facebook page.
