Well, that was quick.
George Clooney’s most recent ex, Stacy Keibler married tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre in Mexico over the weekend.
“My happiness is indescribable,” Keibler told People magazine in a statement. “Marriage is the ultimate bond of love and friendship. It means putting all your faith and trust into a person that you can’t help but believe is your soul mate. Someone who has all of your best interests at heart; someone handpicked for you, to help you grow and be the best person that you can be. Jared is all of this for me.”
Although the wedding came as a surprise for family members who thought they were just holidaying with the couple, apparently Keibler and Pobre had been planning the nuptials for months.
“We both felt strongly that our ‘love day’ should be intimately special, and that’s exactly what it was,” the couple told People. “It was a blend of romance, tranquility, natural beauty, bonding and overwhelming love.”
Keibler is famously known for her two-year relationship with Clooney, which ended in July 2013 (by all accounts she lasted longer than most). She started seeing Pobre shortly after, although the two are said to have been friends for years.
This is the first marriage for both.
